The Challenge
Downtown Kingston needed a cohesive visual system that could unify planning initiatives, public communication, and environmental applications under a clear and recognizable identity. The system needed to feel modern and approachable while supporting long-term growth, navigation, connectivity, and community engagement throughout the downtown core.
The Solution
A structured and adaptable visual system was created using clean typography, modular layouts, and graphic elements inspired by connection, growth, and urban development. The identity focused on clarity and consistency while creating a contemporary civic presence that could scale across planning documents, promotional materials, presentations, and public-facing applications.
The Outcome
The final identity established a stronger and more unified visual presence for the Downtown Kingston Integrated Plan. The system improved the clarity and professionalism of communications while creating a recognizable foundation that could support future initiatives, community engagement, and long-term development throughout downtown Kingston.
